Giants - D-Backs Trade 11/4/20 5:27 pm ET

[Flash]

Giants trade:
SP Humphreys, Jordan, $0.5m (P-n/a)
SP Rivera, Blake, $0.5m (P-n/a)
SP Menez, Connor, $0.5m (P-n/a)

D-Backs trade:
SP Cueto, Johnny, $7m (2022)

After coming back from Tommy John surgery, Johnny Cueto certainly isn’t what he used to be, but given the available free agent pool, and the propensity of others to pay exorbitant salaries, he’s worth giving up some prospects for.  The Giants pitching corp is in need of some help and hopefully, Johnny Cueto can provide some sort of spark during the upcoming season.

D-Backs to confirm.

I accept. Cueto isn’t the same pitcher he used to be and this team is in dire need of some decent prospects. If at least one of these guys turns out to be good, it’s a win.
