cats eating some cap from bigger contracts to get competitive. cellar dwelling ain’t fun! we wouldn’t take those good players with bigger cap hits without the 2nd rounder and a prospect. WT to confirm. :toast:

[99WildThing]

:iatp: Canes agree. Cheaper and just as good. Also, Riikola will get sent back to the minor with our Rd5 draft pick and make him way more valuable to our team and keep him very affordable for the next 3 year especially since I think the Pens cleared a spot for him with the Jack Johnson buyout recently. :CAR-NHL: We'll be looking to make some other moves now that we've got some cap and roster space to work with. Thanks for the trade Florida. :toast:

:iatp: Who the hell woke up PR? Great. Thanks whoever you are. LOL
Seems :FLO: the Panthers are looking to get into the playoffs. Let's see if they have enough steam or cap space to make it happen. Good deal for both teams for different reasons.

[King Boseman]

:iatp: This is a great trade for Carolina to be able to shed $9.5m in cap space. I'm wondering if Florida could've asked for more?
