:iatp: Big trade gents!

:iatp: Avs clearly win this trade by moving a good but extra Center for a great package of talent young D plus a pair of valuable draft picks. Well done Colorado.

Colorado hesitations were high when first approached about Barzal because we can also apply a franchise tag to the dynamic forward and we have always held forwards with more regard for consistency and ceiling. Ultimately we felt the Blueline need and ability to grab a couple minor but flexible picks would benefit the team.

With the fifth pick we are in position to move Brossoit to milr and improve our available cap space further both today and in the future.
