Cubs-Red Sox Trade

[kidd5jersey]

:CHC: Cubs receive:
SS Javy Baez (657k, ARB)

:BOS: Red Sox receive:
SS JP Crawford (550k, 4ARB)
SS Anderson Tejeda (PC)
P Jaycob Schlesener (PC)
P Joan Baez (PC)

Cubs confirm. Javy Baez fills a huge hole at 2B. While the prospect return was high, I had to fill that spot.  Boston to confirm.

Red Sox confirm. Didn't want to lose Baez but the prospect return will help my farm system and I still get another 2B to replace Baez.

Extremely lopsided trade and another where an offensive stud is traded for a defense first player.  It does help that defensive stats are scored in the league, but talent and value are way off.  After more thought and seeing as though Bryant was aquired in a trade that should have been vetoed.

Red Sox really betting on JP Crawford to pan out.

The specs and 5 years of Crawford to 2 of Baez is enough for me.
