Carolina's Dance with Devils part Deux

[halo99]

Hurricanes Trade:

Jeff Skinner, $1.2m (2015-2018-FP-1.5 :CAR-NHL:)
Derrick Pouliot, $0.6m (2016-2018)

Devils Trade:

Kyle Brodziak, $0.3m (2016-2018)
Paul Stastny, $2.5m (2016-2019)
Gustav Nyquist, $3.5m (2016-2019)

I'm looking for more depth so I trade a star player for three meh players with a similar cap hap.

The Devils are looking for star power and they get a guy he scored 37 last year.

You better quit making deals with the Devil...

We approve; thanks for a painless talk. Skinner sounds like something the Devils would do....

 :iatp:

Don't know the ext costs on Skinner or Pouliot, but I know Stastny and Goose can be extended for slightly cheaper than their current cap hits.

Good swap of parts.

[PigsRule]

:iatp: I didnt think Skinner was that much of a studley player.

:iatp: Stastny & Nyquist individually do better than the super star Skinner. LOL I hope that trade blurb was tongue in cheek. Skinner has a 7.7m extension coming his way. That's a tough one to swallow.

Haha don't talk about that extension too loud!

I personally think he gets traded this offseason or I would have kept him since I could franchise him. Carolina had him on the third line most of the year playing with scrubs. That new owner sounds like he will be busier than Indians Nation this offseason so it will be interesting to see what the team looks like next year.

He was an elite player the year before though.

I like Skinner but he can use a change of underwear and scenery.

:iatp: Carolina is easily getting the better of the deal.

Only one guy in the deal capable of 2+ppg. I’m confident I can replace Nyquist & Flat Stastny’s production.

Jake from State Farm is saving me so much money I can handle a big forward contract.

Nyquist is a product of Zetterberg and the Devils sent Father Time over to catch up.... reduced minutes coming
