Habs-Bruins, Flyers-Rangers and Hawks-Avs would be three great matchups. Any of those six teams could win the cup and three would be done after one week.

This is probably bad Karma but I'm rooting for the Devils or Lightning to get the WC2 in the East...

Want no part of the Rangers or Islanders

:CAR-NHL: Canes are still in a class by themselves sitting #1 in this 31 team league. :toast::winner:

[Burkes Boys]

Wings made a trio of deals that could help them pull ahead in a big way down the stretch.

Eastern conference would be a showdown between :DET-NHL: vs :CAR-NHL:

In a one week playoff anything can happen. I've seen the Flyers, Bruins and Habs all go nuts at various times so it wouldn't be hard to imagine any of them knocking off the favorites.

I don't think anyone from the west could beat Carolina or Detroit in a two week final though.

You never know what could happen with so much of the season left. And Halo is so right about being knocked off in a 1 week playoff if a player or a team has a monster outing.

I'm sure that I'm likely to pick up some losses over the next 2 weeks due to these NHL bye weeks...

It only takes 1 injury and everything changes. Just ask PR. He has had some championship teams derailed by Carey Price.

Price screwed my Cats a few yrs ... only takes 1 or 2 key injuries and your team's season can go from 0 to 60 in a heartbeat or get totally derailed.

I see that all of Jonathan's current and past teams are listed above. :WAS-NHL3::EDM::MON-NHL::STL-NHL: :winner:
