I giving away Steel who only just traded for month ago plus 48th pick, but the chance to grab Pettersson was just to good. I get a player who is the Canucks 1st Line Centre in the long term and Henrik's heir.
Plus can Franchise Tag him forever, and this one is staying an Canuck for life.

PPG can't see the Canucks ever letting him go in real life not when he been semi announced as Henrik apparent heir. Plus they have his linemate Dahlen and Swedes due tend to love Vancouver and the Canucks best players seem to have been mainly Swedish players
