[Brian]

sharks agree this is simple trade i move a over priced goalie that isnt in my rebuild process thats getting old for some young players. i also make this move to clear a big contract. i can use this money to go after a goalie i like more in fa.

Halak is a huge contact, but still has some value. SJ keeps filling out with quality. Good trade.

[Burkes Boys]

I wouldn't make that deal as SJ but I'm not SJ anymore. :-)

Sharks are moving a big contract and re-acquiring Desrosier.
Approve.

If Halak lands a role with one of the 31 NHL teams this trade will be lopsided. Potential and youth in dynasty leagues will always get these types of trades an approval stamp. The fact there is a significant amount of salary being shifted to another team in a cap league also makes this an acceptable deal.

I agree with TheBeef's assessment.
