Philly makes a deal with Florida for PK!

[PsychoticPondGoons]

Been going at PR to get PK for some time so it's good to get this deal done!
Hate losing Fowler & Nick but that's part of the price we have to pay to land a highlight reel guy like Subban.

Traded to FLA
D Cam Fowler, $4.4m (2017-2020)
C Nick Bjugstad, $2.5m (2017-2020)
RW Brian Gionta, $1.1m (2016-2018) 38yo UFA unsigned in the NHL

Traded to Philly
D PK Subban, $6.6m (2016-2020)
Round 3 - 2017  (from :FLO:)
Round 3 - 2017  (from :MON-NHL:*; originally :STL-NHL:)

Also good to get some mid round picks in this trade. Thanks PR. Florida to confirm.

Cats confirm.
We're changing things up in Miami! We like the package coming our way. Got younger with Bjugstad and Fowler. Feel they still have untapped potential. Gionta is a wildcard throw in and I really hope he plays 1 more season. Overall a solid deal to address some of our needs as we head into the 2017-18 FNHL season.

Smartass!

Hey man, when you take a mth to decide, that's "ass-drag" LOL It is what it is man!

Good deal, I approve

Its hard to say which package I'd rather have.

[Burkes Boys]

Approved with 2 thumbsup! That's a blockbuster. Anytime you trade a player like PK Subban it's big news.

Approve

Florida getting some good players for their minor rebuilding initiative. A worthy package to compensate for the departure of PK Subban.

Tampa hopes Florida is rebuilding. For what it's worth I like the return they get for PK but we want to see them tear down the entire roster one PK at a time.
