SOLD - PPG BUYS FLYERS (PURCHASE PRICE $100SD)

[PsychoticPondGoons]

PPG has a lot to work with and can make a winner out of these guys!  :beer:

Damn straight. Maybe not as fast as Dickie can but I think I've got the blueprint to make it happen. :thumbsup:

[PsychoticPondGoons]

Those are great highend assets that can be resigned or flipped. All part of the game in FNHL.

I always look fwd to new owners taking over new franchises. Great energy boost to the league and other owners. :thumbsup:

YAH! That's why the team was more interesting. I don't think they're all staying but that's part of the fun in FNHL is taking what someone else has done with a team and turning things around by tweaking or overhauling the roster. Flyers are a good solid team at the core. Can't wait to get started on the changes.

[PsychoticPondGoons]

Then there's the new domino effect in FNHL.

:PHI-NHL: FLYERS go up for sale and get purchased.
Opens up :CLS: and there's interest in the JACKETS.
Then another owner offers up :COL-NHL: and there are already several interested investors in the AVALANCHE within 24hrs.

Signs of a healthy league!??
You bet'cha! :judge:

:iatp::iatp::iatp:
Well said PR!
I'm in shock at how quickly franchises sold.

[PsychoticPondGoons]

I would like to see new meat own and run teams up for sale, but I can hardly blame PPG for purchasing them. If not for expansion, I would have bought them.

Different GMs have different philosophy on how to build a contender. Philly is already light years ahead of what I took over in Tampa or what jojo took over in Jersey, or Minny, Calgary, SJ, etc.

No other team in the league has 3 first rounders, isn't Picard a top or the top Goalie prospect in hockey? He has multiple top Forwards and Provorov on the back end.

Can't win it all today, I'm not saying that, but the foundation is strong. Hit on trades and the top 6 picks in the first 2 rounds of this draft, and I'm telling you they can win sooner than later.

I can see it, if nobody else does.

I would welcome Stamkos back to Philly anytime Daddy. Let's talk. LOL

[PsychoticPondGoons]

:iatp: I'd love to see net new owners buy into FNHL.

Failing that, I will gladly welcome an existing owner who is motivated to compete on FNHL + add a team to their collection. :toast:

YAH BABY!
How about a new current owner on steroids HA HA HA
That's what you get when you let a Flyers fan into your league. Crazies like me & Daddy want to win it all NOW! We are going Bobby Clarke all over this place! LOL

[PsychoticPondGoons]

Can't think of a better owner for :PHI-NHL: than the man who has been eyeing them since he joined FNHL in 2012.

:iatp::iatp::iatp:

Now where the hell is PPG??? :soapbox:

All I did was take a few days off! Come on man, it's the holidays brother!
