New and Old Flames Owners Trade. Bs get Cracknell.

[jackdaniels]

Bs pleased to workout a deal with new Flames owner DTox.

Trade to Flames
C Carl Soderberg, $2.6m (2014-2017)

Trade to Beantown
Rw/C Adam Cracknell, $0.2m (2016-2018)

Bs were on the fence with resigning C-Sod but got a player that would fill the void shortterm. We also pay Adam less. Thx for the quick negotiations Dtox. :toast:

Calgary Flames here to accept the terms of this trade with Boston.

We are selling high on Cracknall who is traditionally a marginal depth player at best so he's playing well above his potential and historical baseline. Soderberg on the other hand is playing well below his normal performance range likely due to the coaching change in Colorado. We anticipate Soderberg will bounce back in the new year.

Goodluck to the Bruins.

:iatp: Correct. Calgary Flames have 0m in cap space after this 3rd trade. :judge:

I will give the slightest of edges to the Flames for acquiring the better player.
