Beantown and Hollywood Swing Deal

[jackdaniels]

Bs hook up with royalty to get some players we need.
The job isn't finished in Beantown. Oh no! We have more on the back burner.

To :LAK:
G Jeff Zatkoff, $3.4m (2016-2019)
D Tyler Myers, $2.1m (2014-2017)
D - Gustav Forsling (2014: 5/126 - 0 Games) this guys played a lot of hames this yr already. Aint zero no more.

To :BOS-NHL:
D David Savard, $5.7m (2015-2019)
G Joonas Korpisalo, $0.6m (2015-2018-EL)

Makes sense for both of us! :toast: Myers was dangled like a Christmas ornament for a few mths. We found a sweet spot with Zatkoff, only took a great game for Kings to realize insurance in net is always smart in this league. Gus Forsling to seal the deal. Savard and Joonas Welcome to Baws'ton! Find a hotel and dont get too comfy.

Good working with you on this trade DD. :toast:  LA to confirm.

Los Angeles management accepts this trade.
Better to have insurance for our insurance in goal.

We definitely prefer Myers and his smaller cap hit and relatively light extension cost. The price for our dual layer insurance policy in net and acquiring a talented young blue line prospect was somewhat steep but we do not expect to win by standing still. Thank you Boston.

When title contenders make trades to each other it always interesting.

LA clearly going all in on netminder, a tremendous ripple effect to the Jonathan Quick injury. Ironically the road to the cup in Beantown looks to be the most gruesome.

Can't wait to see how it all plays out.

Boston will survive will 2 of the top 5 goalies overall  :judge:

If anyone in the league is an insurance salesman, talk to DD quick.

[PigsRule]

:iatp: Was wondering how long before Kings made a play for thebother backup goalie in LA. Moving Korpisalo is a hefty price. I think he'll be great in 2yrs or when Glass Bob goes down again.

:iatp: Surprisingly even. Korpisalo will be good down the road.
