Philadelphia/St. Louis Trade 11-22-16 1:44 pm ET

:PHI: receives:
Brandon Drury .5(P-n/a)

St. Louis receives:
Ian Desmond 2.5(2017)

To be approved by :PHI: and the TC

St. Louis makes this deal to sure up the OF situation prior to free agency.  Drury had a solid year last year and has definitely shown he can hit, but may not be in the lineup everyday, so even for only a year I see Desmond as an upgrade, especially given the make up of my roster.  Thanks Papps!

Philly does this to get younger and add some position versatility.  Desmond is a good player and had a nice year but I didn't want to give him a raise after this year.  Drury did well last year and hopefully gets more consistent AB's next year.

Thanks Ryan for the easy deal!  :toth:
