ProFSL Rosters Updated - Please Read

We have updated your ProFSL Rosters.  All the draftees were added and the posted transactions were processed.  Some teams still had (P-2016) and they were removed.

For all GMs:  If you want to keep your (P-2016) players by issuing them a prospect extension or a regular extension, you have until January 1, 2017 to do so.  For those of you who are not sure which of your players were (P-2016), please refer to this link on Google Docs that Rick prepared:

January 1st will come sooner than you think, so if you're planning to keep your (P-2016) players, please take of their extensions ASAP.  Once the January 1st deadline passes, the players who are not extended will become Free Agents.

Finally, during the updating process, it has become increasing evident that some of you are moving players between your MLB and MiLB rosters without posting a corresponding move on the Transactions Board.  It's quite time-consuming to cross-check Fantrax and ProFSL rosters when we notice that the rosters do not match.  There were several teams whose rosters had misplaced players, missing players, players who should not have been rostered, and we had to go through the tedious task of checking each player against the ProFSL/Fantrax roster.  Although it is a part of our "jobs" as commissioners to make sure these type of things are taken care of, it is to everyone's benefit to help us out and make sure your rosters match and are up-to-date.  Sometimes we list things improperly, misspell a player's name, list a player twice or do a variety of other things that are not correct--you have all been great about pointing out the things that need our attention--and it only helps us to keep things running smoothly.

Rick and I are both looking forward to another competitive season in 2017.  We hope that the turnover will come to an end and that we have a group of GMs who are committed to making FGM a strong, competitive league.  With that, there are a few teams which have some inactive GMs, and if they don't respond to our attempts to reach out to them, we will again be looking for replacement GMs.  Right now, theoretically, we have a full contingent of GMs and we look forward to another spirited Free Agent period in January.
