LOL
Best title for a post!  :winner:
We're setting Jeff Carter free.
No point keeping him hostage on a last place team.

In return we get a guy with bounce back potential in Stafford, a redhot prospect D in Pulock (broken foot and all), a 2nd Rd pk & a bum contract with Stajan.

To Ohio :CLS:
Drew Stafford, $1.6m (2014-2017)
D - Ryan Pulock (2013: 1/15 - 15 Games)
Round 2 - 2017  (from :MIN-NHL:)
Matt Stajan, $1.9m (2014-2017) only because cap wouldn't work without a contract betw 1.5-2m tossed in

To Wild :MIN-NHL:
Jeff Carter, $6.2m (2013-2017)

Indiansnation to confirm. :toast:
Enjoy Minnesota Jeff.

[Brian]

Wild agrees to trade add another top player to my team and lose some good minors but well worth it.

[PigsRule]

:iatp: good trade for the Wild. Carter is a great player to add to a franchise fast-tracking their rebuild.

:iatp: Staj and Staff both having bad yrs. The spec and pick are good but not much return for Carter. Win to Minnesota.

Also saved on cap. It's a decent package.

Then come talk to the Bs if you like those types of deals. :toast:

:iatp: but I don't think cap works,  with the trade I made with minny.  I could be wrong though.

That's a good pt man. :judge:
:MIN-NHL: will be short 1.2m to complete this deal however being the team that signed the Wild's ABO Mikko Koivu to a 1.5m contract 2016-2019 as an FA in September.

So if Indiansnation wants this trade to go thru they can post that Koivu FA discount and this trade can go through.

All :MIN-NHL: FA discounts total 2.1m
0.2m Ben Smith http://www.profsl.com/smf/index.php?topic=282268.msg1212831#msg1212831
0.4m Jonas Hiller http://www.profsl.com/smf/index.php?topic=282102.msg1212627#msg1212627
1.5m Mikko Koivu http://www.profsl.com/smf/index.php?topic=276905.msg1197652#msg1197652

[Burkes Boys]

:thumbsup::iatp: Hard to say who won this trade. Carter is clearly undervalued and underperforming so far but he's always clutch by year end and through the playoffs. Pulock is a great spec to have but so far he's been fragile. The other guys don't deserve a sniff. Cap space is gold.
