It's all in the rules, if a player is left off of the protected player list he then can be taken in the expansion draft. If his contract is up he then needs to be signed to a contract. No differently than you would sign a player on your Tampa Bay team.
TrueThank you for re-pointing that out
PPG or PR...Is Vegas allowed to draft RFAs from other clubs? We are working off the assumption that we can since we can't control resign tendencies of other clubs. This has become increasingly curious after all the trades this season.Because we have to sign a certain number of players and some players are automatically ineligible (the Tampa roster is also not eligible) when combined with teams being able to protect whoever they want, I need to be sure RFAs (like Lundquist) are in play.Let us all know and thank you. :toast:
hey no problem, I've been looking at the teams. Also some of the lists that have been put up, you have some home work to do my friend. I would suggest (if there isn't already) a deadline to submit protected lists.
