Flyers - Islanders Trade

[papps]

The Flyers and the rival Islanders have come to an agreement:

Islanders trade:
LW James van Riemsdyk, $1.5m (2012-2013)
D Andrew MacDonald, $0.6m (2013-2014)
D Mark Fayne, $0.2m (2011-2012)

Flyers trade:
LW Ville Leino, $2.1m (2013-2014)
D Niklas Kronwall, $3m (2011-2012)
D Braydon Coburn, $3.2m (2011-2012)
RW Andreas Nodl, $0.5m (P-2012)
3rd 2011
4th 2011

I do this deal to reacquire JVR.  I think I made a mistake by trading him last year and I'm happy to get him back.  I also wanted to reduce payroll.  I'm really happy to add two cheaper D options and solidify my LW position.  This deal gives me more flexibility for the FA market as well.

Thanks Gilly for the great negotiations!!   :toth:

I never wanted to trade JVR, hes gonna be amazing...however...the return I got I believe for the direction my team is was amazing...
great d-man, Leino the man,
Nodl is awesome
and I got two picks....
so yeah I eat some cap...but do I eat cap in FA and over pay more than I already have or move a stud for a group of smaller studs and possible future stud...I think this will work out just dandy for the Islander franchise

Thanks for your patience papps...Ive been so busy and it takes me a little longer to respond...lol I feel like im Drew Jr...lolol
