NYR-CHI Trade

[PsychoticPondGoons]

Hawks bring in reinforcements for the second half.
We trade Jonathan Drouin who demanded a trade of out town and we're happy to oblige in order to bring in players who want to play for Chicago. Mind you we weren't going to give Johnny away.

Traded to :CHI-NHL:
RW/C Elias Lindholm, $3.0m (2014-2017-EL)
C Mikeal Backlund, $2.9m (2015-2018)
RW - Samuel Kurker (2012: 2/56 - 0 Games)

Traded to :NYR:
LW Jonathan Drouin, $0.2m (2015-2017)
G Garret Sparks, $5.5m (2015-2019)
G Alexandar Georgiyev, $0.2m (2015-2017)
D - Brenden Kichton (2013: 7/190 - 0 Games)

We're set in goal with newly promoted Andrey Vasilevskiy and can part with some prospects.
BB to confirm. :toast:

:NYR: Rangers confirm. Drouin is very undervalued given his exile in the A while Tampa deals with his situation. He's also cheap and likely getting a cheap extension unless he catches fire with a new trade if the Lightning actually deal him. Goalies. Goalies. Goalies are always welcome on my teams.

The rebuilding effort in the Big Apple continues.:thumbsup:
Thanks PPG!
