Flyers - Avalanche Trade

[papps]

Flyers get:
D - Ivan Provorov
D - Travis Sanheim
G - Felix Sandstrom

Avalanche get:
Joe Pavelski, $7.9m (2014-2018)

Flyers do this trade for a Philly spec special!  We love Provorov and I think he will be a star.  Sanheim should be a good one as well.  Sandstrom is a few years away but could be the wild card in this trade.  Oh, and I save almost $8m in badly needed cap space.

Thanks Tyler for the great negotiations!   :toast:

Avs approve.

We didn't think we were this close to competing but now in the thick of things needed an impact player an Pav is that.

Hate giving the specs but we are stockpiled with them so shouldn't hurt too much in the long run.

Cheers Papps!

:iatp: Look at that. Avs finally start using all that cap space they been sitting on.
Good move for Philly but better move for the Avs given all the cap they had laying around.

You are a little chubby arent you Jack?

:COL-NHL: gets a big time player but he comes with a big cap hit.

[PigsRule]

:iatp: Way to use that cap space Tyler. Pavelski is a great pickup who plays all 3 forward positions.
Wonder what Philly's going to do with all that new found cap space?
