[blkhwkfn]

The yotes will use thier ABO on Nathan Horton (3m over 2yrs) 1.5 @ 40% = .6  (over 2 years 1.2)

You would be better off buying Horton out all this year. $1.5m for 2 years = $3m * .66% = 1.98 (no rounding) = $1.9m
You have lots of cap room to do this and it will bring him off the books entirely; no carry over to next year!

:iatp: Right on! :afro:

Nathan Horton, $1.5m (2014-2017)  Qualifies for a standard buy out at 66.66% or Amnesty Buy out at 40% between April 12-25, 2015

Your :PHO: Coyotes best option for dumping Horton is BO remainder of his deal over 1yr at the standard rate of 66.66% since you have enough cap space to eat the buyout total all in 1yr which costs your team

1.5 X 3 = 4.5m
4.5m X 66.66% standard BO rate = 2.9997m round down for BOs
:PHO: Nathan Horton BO cost = $2.9m (2014-2015) - 1yr b/o

That what you want Blk?

[blkhwkfn]
