BJs swing deal with Panthers

[PsychoticPondGoons]

My BJs are sh!t out of luck with Steve 90yo Knees Mason getting his knee scoped!

BJs are landing a goalie who might end up a starter somewhere as the NHL trade deadline approaches and a talented offensive blueliner who might or might not be playing soon.

Well worth it as my BJs gear up for the final weeks of the regular season. Making this deal to offload overpaid under performing Eller. I've got free agent pickup doubling up on Lars in pts. He was a bad trade last offseason, but it was boat loads of fun landing him in a 4-way deal.  The prospect was going to be deal breaker so we included him in the deal. Visnovsky gets moved because he's 100yo and at risk of breaking down during the FNHL playoffs. Have fun with Lubs PR!

Traded to :CBJ: COLUMBUS
G James Reimer, $8.0m (2014-2019)
D Slava Voynov, $0.9m (2013-2015)

Traded to :FLO: FLORIDA
C Lars Eller, $4.7m (2013-2016)
D Lubomir Visnovsky, $3.2m (2012-2015)
MiLR D - Anthony DeAngelo (2014: 1/19 - 0 Games)

Might make another deal in Columbus if the right one lands on our table like this package! We'll see what's out there.

PR to confirm.

cats got a decent offer for a potential starter in Reimer especially the way the leafs have been playing since Randy got fired but because of his robust 8m cap hit we were willing to take some inflated skater contracts and roll the dice that Eller improves and Lubs doesnt land on the IR again. tough to move Voynov but tired of waiting for him to return. my fav piece coming back our way is tony deangelo whos a little chirpy and entertaining because of his skills and his mouth.

shake up in Miami is still underway. hopefully more moves to come.

I understand why Columbus made the deal but Im guessing Florida is moving a big contract to get smaller pieces to make more deals. Personally as is this deal is a huge win for the Jackets shipping off expensive guys who are not living up to potential or at the end of their career but I'm sure Florida ain't done wheeling and dealing. :iatp:

I agree with JackDaniels for the most part. PPG receives the better players by far.
