MI Infante, Omar, $6m (2015)

Cards receive:
RP Sherfy, Jimmie, $0.5m (P-n/a)

Phillies do this to gain an extra MI on an expiring contract.  If Infante plays ok he will be a cheap resign.  If not then I got a year of service out of him.

Cardinals confirm.  Infante was not needed this season with Walker, Harrison, and Taylor at MI.  We were not planning on extending him and this frees up $5.5m in salary cap space.  Sherfy can be a good closer if his control improves.
