Pirates trade w/Brewers

[Colby]

It's been a while, but the Buccos are moving currently un-needed MLB depth for two top-60 prospects.  It was good working with you Ben.  I am sure Cliffey and Slowey will score points against me this season.

:PIT: receives
P Crosby, Casey, $0.5m (P-n/a)
OF Mitchell, Jared, $0.5m (P-n/a)

:MIL: receives
MI Pennington, Cliff, $0.5m (P-2013)
SP Slowey, Kevin, $1.5m (2013)
X-SP Slowey, Kevin, Cash Exchanged on Contract (2011), $-1m in 2011

Brewers confirm, adding MLB level depth at two positions of need (can never have enough depth for the injured, odd-man out pitcher slot)

 :iatp:

1. good value for both teams

2. trade is consistent with the direction/philosophy of both teams.

Approved.  Looks very good if Crosby returns to form and dominates.  Good value for both teams.

Both teams recieve a pitcher and a bat for a a pitcher and a bat.  Similar value in $.  I approve this trade.
