TRADE Carolina and Detroit

[izaman3]

TRADED To :DET-NHL: Wings
Jussi Jokinen, $1.0m (2013-2015)
Nicklas Grossman, $2.2m (2012-2015)
Joe Corvo, $1.7m (2012-2015)
RW/LW - Anthony Mantha (2013: 1/20 - 0 Games)

TRADED To :CAR-NHL: Canes
Brendan Gallager, $3.5m (2014-2017)
Erik Gudbranson, $1.9m (2013-2016)
Riley Sheahan, $0.5m (2014-2016)

Carolina and Detroit have reached an agreement. I'm thinking Jussi will be the man in Florida and Mantha is someone that I am very high on. Corvo is there to make the caps work. I give up a lot of good young talent and many people might think that I lose this deal, but hopefully you all think that I know what I'm doing.

Thanks for the deal favo and welcome to the league!  :toast:

Carolina confirms. We are on a quest to make our team younger and this deal definitely makes us younger. I believe all three of these players will be top 2 line players one day, which makes trading a talent like mantha easier to stomach. Detroit gets the better player short term in jokinen, but we definitely achieved our mission with this deal.

Thanks for the talks Izaman. You definitely got my brain churning.

We thought this was such a good trade, we did it twice lol

:iatp: Good trade gents! Riley Sheahan an Anthony Mantha are both hot commodities.
Good for everyone now and down the line!

A good trade with lots of young talent changing hands. If Corvo signs somewhere I would give the Edge to Detroit.

:iatp: I'll give the Win to the Canes here. I'd call all 3 players headed to Carolina bluechippers and great to build a franchise around.
