Trade Ducks & Canes

[hockeyfreak47]

TO: :ANA: Anaheim Ducks  :ANA:

Brandon Sutter, $2.4m (2013-2016)

TO: :CAR-NHL: Carolina Hurricanes  :CAR-NHL:

LW - Nicolas Kerdiles (2012: 2/36 - 0 Games)
:ANA: Round 2 - 2014

Again adding depth to my Ducks and happy to get the 6'3" 25 years old center he is a solid 3rd line center on a packed :PIT-NHL: team .

When someone is asking you about Kerdiles you know he did his homework  :agent:  As he will start is professional career this season ... most likely in the AHL But in a not to distant future this LW may be the answer to B.Ryan departure on the 1st line .

Thanks to one of the great hockey mind on this site Favo  :toast:

:CAR-NHL: to confirm

:CAR-NHL: confirms. We want to open some cap space for the upcoming goalie battle next week. Sutter does not fit into our long term plan anyway, so we are extremely satisfied with getting kerdiles, who has a ton of potential, and a 2nd that should turn into a decent spec for us.

Thanks for the quick deal hockey freak. It is always a pleasure.  :toast:

:iatp: this is the basic 1 team wins now the other wins later deal. Good explanation. Like what Ducks got. Inexpensive C.

Ducks Win now and Hurricanes win later.

I agree with DD and Jack. I'll be interested to see who Carolina drafts with that late 2nd round pick. It could swing this deal in favor of the Canes right away!
