VOID (MTL GM removed) - TRADE Montreal and Detroit

[izaman3]

To Montreal
Brendan Gallager, $3.5m (2014-2017)
Max Reinhart, $0.2m (2014-2016)
1st rd pick 29

To Detroit
Brad Stuart, $0.2m (2013-2015)
RW - Sebastien Collberg (2012: 2/33 - 0 Games)
1st rd pick 14

As everyone might have noticed, I've been moving up in the draft lately, I do that here and add some cheap D depth. Its tough giving up good youngsters like Gallager and Reinhart but Collberg is a great prospect and I feel good making this deal because I have a lot of RW depth.

Thanks for the deal Montreal!  :toast:

It certainly was tough giving up my 14th and Collberg, but the return made it much sweeter. I had relatively no depth at RW so Gallager helps that out. Reinhart is a good young player with a high ceiling.
Cheers Detroit  :toth:

:iatp: Izaman3 has been getting deals done fast this Summer. Whooa!
MTL has cap to add Gallagher and DET gets an inexpensive D.

PS I can't wait for the season to start. It'll be great to see how all these moves have helped teams.

An even trade with Montreal getting who I feel
is the better player in Brenden Gallagher but Detroit gains cap, a roster spot and a good defenseman.

Mikey likes it. He likes it. And I like it too. :toast:
Wings are going for it and keeping an eye on developing a ripe farm system. :win:
Habs get a really good young RW.

Lots of wholesome goodness going around here. I like it.

:iatp: a fair deal for the habs. A balanced trade with fair value going both ways. See mikey, im not hating on your Habs. My Bruins just prefer not to mow every team down too easily in the Atlantic.

[SlackJack]

Fair but nicely tilted in favour of Montreal.
