Trade Kings and Flyers

[dickiedunn]

Los Angeles management announce a trade with the Philadelphia Flyers.

TRADED TO :LAK:
Nick Leddy, $2.5m (2012-2015)

TRADED TO :PHI-NHL:
LW - Alexander Khokhlachev (2011: 2/40 - 0 Games)
D - Derek Forbort (2010: 1/15 - 0 Games)

Kings agree to this trade as we are in the market for a top 4 Defenseman in return for prospects. We liked Papps offer out of the 3 that landed in our inbox. Khokhlachev is a highend Bruins prospect while Fobort is a former 1st Round pick. Tough to part ways with those players but we received the piece we were looking for.

Thanks for the easy going trade talks Papps!

Philly to confirm.

Flyers agree. I like Leddy but I'm trying to rebuild the farm and I think I got a few nice pieces. I clear some cap in the process as well.

Thanks dickiedunn for the easy deal  :toth:

Kings win the deal now, Philly wins later.

[PigsRule]

Perhaps the best job of rebuilding anything in this league to date... Papps has gone from what PPG called one of the worst MiLR in FNH, then gutting the farm and suddenly almost overnight setting up MiLR with a group of bluechip prospects!

:iatp:
Seems both teams are getting exactly what they want. Good all around.

:iatp: You know me, if theres a Bruin involved thatll be the winning team. Win to Philly for getting a hot prospect who should crack the top 9 finalling sometime this yr.

Its a solid deal on both ends.

[Burkes Boys]

 :iatp: Win to LA now. Philly Wins real soon with those kids.

I'm loving these 2014 FNHL trades in the early going. Resources are getting flipped. All teams remain strong contenders.  :toast:

Good player heading to LA. Good prospects landing in Philly. Excellent work rebuilding your MiLR papps!  :winner:

Correction to Fobort name which should read Forbort.
