Avs/Isles Deal

[SlackJack]

Zack Kassian, $0.7m (2014-2016)
Round 2 - 2014

For

Julien Brouillette, $0.2m (2013-2015)
Chris Tanev, $0.8m (2013-2015)
Stefan Elliot, $1.0m (2013-2015)

Elliot/Brouillette are both on two-way deals and not part of my future. Especially given that we have Tyson Barrie. Didn't want to move Tanev but Kassian is a good return for him and the the 2nd covers Elliot just fine IMO. Taking on Brouillette saves me a buy-out.

Thanks To Johnny for replying to half a dozen different offers before settling on this.  :toast:

:NYI: confirm

FA bidding on D-men went nuts, this helps me a ton. Elliott is very promising, Tanev is better every year. You never know about Jets, Brouillette might get a change. If not, it's an easy b/o.

Kassian is a true loss, but no can do. 2nd rounder doesn't hurt so much since this year's draft class aint so deep imho.

Thanks for the talks.

This deal makes sense for both teams, I like the Avs return here better. Slack approached me about something similar, but I wasn't able to get back in time. Good thing he had a backup plan

So Iz... what your saying is Slack offers himself around. Hnnmm

Good moce for both side. Everyone is customizing their roster.

Johnny is putting in work on the Island  :winner:
Is it at the expense of Winnipeg?

:iatp: Avs are clearing roster spots to unlock their millions in cap.

Slackjack and his Avs have really turned it on recently. Good match of needs.
