TRADE CANUCKS-FLAMES

[jackdaniels]

Trade between FLAMES and CANUCKS. Tarheels said he's the man in Vancouver so I called him to make a deal. And a deal we made!  :toast:

Going to :VAN:  Cap hit 5.6m over 1yr
RW Martin St. Louis, $5.6m (2011-2015)

Going to :CLG:   Cap hit of 2.2.2-2.4m over 1-3yrs
LW Michael Raffl, $0.2m (2013-2015)
D Jake Muzzin, $2.0m (2012-2015)
Prospect guy D - Kevin Connauton (2009: 3/83 - 0 Games)
Round 3 - 2014 (from VAN)

Saw that the Canucks had no legit RW so we shot over a propsal and his people thought it could work in Van. I will take back less production but also save some cap and plug 1 moresmall hole in our Calgary roster. We wanted to ask for a Sedin but then we'd prob have to take both which we dont want in Cattle Country!

Welcome back Tarheels.  :toast:
Thx for the excellent trade talks.  :toth:

:VAN: to confirm!

[Tarheels55]

The Canucks Franchise really like Marty Mart as the Calgary GM (Mr Jack Daniels) states we needed a RW as we have slim pickens here.Hate to give up the youth but have plenty of cap money to spend to make out here

Thanks JD for easy talks  :toast:

I guess this means the sale of the Canucks is official.

The Win goes to :VAN: for acquiring a stud Right Winger who will likely have a better season this year full-time in New York. Muzzin is good but I don't see anyone in that group that can't be easily replaced relative to a player of Martin St. Louis's stature.

Well done Tarheels!

Needs votes and really buried in the FA action. PPG or PR can we get a NHL Shield slapped on the lead post?

Advantage :VAN: for getting the way better player in this deal. And welcome back TH55! :toast:

Like the last CGY deal but reversed. This time Flames are adding a couple of young Dmen while moving an old but very productive Wing. Of course, I like Tarheels' "Win Now" direction + moves. Marty St.Louis could be fantasy gold again this yr like he has been his whole career.

TRADE WILL BE PENDING VANCOUVER PAYMENT OF 2014-15 FNHL FEE.

Martin St Louis has 2-3yrs still. He's good and money every yr. Can't argue with what Calgary received. Good package of players.
