Sharks-Devils Trade

[jojowalkwalk]

Devils Trade RW Dainius Zubrus, $3.2m (2012-2015) to Boston Bruins San Jose Sharks :SJ:
For the Bruins #1 2014 draft pick. We create a hole at RW but are looking for a good young RW in the draft. Thanks for the talks Burkes Boys. Boston San Jose Sharks :SJ: to confirm.

Aug13,14: Correct team trading with Jersey is San Jose :SJ:. Updated.
aug12-14: revise title to correct boston to buffalo (Bruins-Devils Trade)

Burke owns :BUF-NHL3: and hold Boston's 2014 Round 1 Draft pick.
I'll update the title.

:iatp: :SJ: Sharks here to confirm (Not the Bruins. Not the Sabres  :soapbox: ).

San Jose Sharks own Boston's 1st Rd pick in the 2014 Entry Draft and offered it up after reading NJ wanted a 2nd. We're generous that way.

The pick is 30th overall for a RW how's getting older and on the last yr of his current contract. We don't have much veteran presence of RW so we figured this could help out my Sharks.

Thanks for the easy going trade talks Jojowalkwalk! :toast:

I had to go investigate this before I voted, but Sharks and Devils trade, I approve.

I like the pick better than Zubrus, but then you may have been able to guess that since my last trade was similar to this one

Maybe PPG or Pigs can clean up the title. It's confusing.
I wouldn't have even looked at this trade if not for the fact I'm on TC.

Boy oh boy! Someone needs to update several posts in this trade thread. This is a :NJD: & :SJ: trade.

I like the 1st Round pick as well so the Edge goes to :NJD:.

I like a diverse league when it comes to strategic thinking.

Zubrus was a Flyguy at one time, he did well for himself lasting so long in the NHL. Hopefully he has another year or two in those legs.
Long term NJ if they draft decent with picks 13, 30, 43, 52 looks promising.

Damn PR your post threw me off. I was scanning Buffalo for my old Bruins pk and nothing. :SJ: baby. :SJ:
