Philly and LAD Strike a Deal

[BHows]

Dodgers sent the following to Philadelphia:
Matt Olsen (p-n/a)
Lew Brinson (p-n/a)
Alex Yarbrough (p-n/a)
Jack Ramsey (p-n/a)

to the Phillies for
Matt Joyce $6.5m (2016)
(Cash exchange thru 2016 $3.5M/yr)
Mat Latos
Cash Exchange- $7M 2014, $3.5M 2015, $2M 2016

Chris finally wore me down but I'm not complaining. I get an OF/DH to replace Lind who is out 6-8 weeks and a 26 year SP at a really good price for 3 years. He'll take Samairja's place in the rotation as I likely won't resign him at year's end. I really don't like losing Ramsey but I think my team will come out better in the end.
Thanks Chris, it was fun!

Phillies agree. Time will tell if I made a good deal but I'm sticking to the plan. I feel I got a great wealth of young talent and I will have a ton of cap space to spend for next year.

Thanks Rick! It's always a pleasure!  :toth:
