Bruins Bring Home Little Ball of Hate

RW Blake Wheeler, $2.5m (2013-2014)
Gain +$4.8 million in cap space for more moves!

To Bos
LW Brad Marchand, $7.3m (2015-2016)

We're bringing home that little ball of hate, Brad Marchand! He left the Bruins last off season and got snapped up by the Canes and got a big payday. Our team's cap is in better shape this yr so we can take on a big contract. We give up a more productive Blake Wheeler who outscored Marchand the last 2 yrs! Canes get nearly 5m in cap savings. Everybody's happy!

Jamesgoods to confirm.

Clearly the winner is Carolina by moving an expensive salary and adding an even more productive player.

An easy win for Carolina, but everyone has players they like and both are very productive.
