Nationals/Red Sox Trade

[lp815]

The Nationals and Red Sox have agreed to the following:

Red Sox receive:
SP Maholm, Paul, $5m (2011)
MI Uggla, Dan, $10.5m (2010)
OF Torres, Andres, $0.5m (2010)

Nationals receive:
MI Pedroia, Dustin, $7m (2015)
OF Kalish, Ryan, $0.5m (P-2013)

I give up three probable starters on my team for at least one, though I like the deal.  Pedroia is a top MI who has a great contract, and this trade will probably free me up at least $10m, regardless of whether Torres and Uggla were re-signed or RFA'ed, which is 1/6th of my payroll.  Hopefully Kalish gets a shot next season.

Red Sox to approve, thanks Jeff for easy talks.

You know, I noticed that initially, then it went away on my Official Roster when Colb updated.  Confused?
