Calgary Flames Season Preview

[PsychoticPondGoons]

Damn man! Calgary is a big challenge. Guess you really like rebuilding a team.
I would've snapped up one of the other 3 teams in the West. Likely the Avs.

:CHI-NHL: and :CLS: are ready for some wheelin and dealin! Let's talk.

Chose the Flames cuz they are going to be a fun rebuild project now and in the offseason.
What's the point of playing fantasy if you buy a prefab winning lineup? If there was big $$ then yeah maybe but in this league I get my jollies building a winner from the ground up.  :winner:

Let's talk business PPG. Check out my PM. I think there's a few deals we can make. Tell me what you think. :toast:

The Calgary rebuild is in full swing. You might see some crazy looking trades but we have a master plan in our owner/GM War room!

Don't think for one minute we're holding a firesale and selling off without an eye on kicking butt starting this offseason!

[jackdaniels]

More trades to annouce. Stay tuned!
Things are heating up for the :CLG: Calgary Flames after 2 seasons in limbo!  :bacon: :bacon:

Now I'm going to have more competition in the league!  :soapbox:

haha, I'm excited for these teams to finally have dedicated owners  :winner:

No fun sitting around waiting for the dust to settle and a Championship to fall into my lap.

Might still have a few smaller deals to wrap up.

But I think the Blockbuster deals are done for now! I think or maybe not. We'll see.

[PigsRule]

Good to see the Calgary franchise actively building a contender. Keep it up!

Though I'll be curious to see what Calgary does with Bryzgalov if that trade goes through.

Like I said I have no real issue dealing with that beast of a contract. For now I'll wait and see how Bryzgalov performs in Edmonton during the final months of the season.
