FGM Official Trade Block Thread

Arizona is looking for a MI

SP Blanton, Joe, $4m (2012)
SP Scherzer, Max, $9.5m (2012)

[h4cheng]

I need to open up a roster spot: looking for the best I can get for the following package:

Andrew Susac (potential 1st round draft pick last year but got injured and fell in the draft, but still got 1st round money)
Brandon Martin (only 17, first round draft pick of the Rays)

[VolsRaysBucs]

Rays are listening to offers for the following players:

C Buster Posey 4M (2015) Unlikely at this time, but will listen
MI Steven Lombardozzi 0.5M (p-n/a)
MI Sean Rodriguez 5M (2013)
OF Matt Joyce 6.5M (2016)
OF Ichiro Suzuki NO MONEY OWED (2012)
OF Ryan Ludwick 5.5M (2013)
SP Bud Norris 0.5M (p-n/a)
SP Matt Moore 0.5M (p-n/a) Unlikely, but will listen
SP Wade Davis 0.5M (p-2013)

I will be up front with everyone by saying I am not looking for 18 yr old "can't miss studs" with 25 professional plate appearances.  I'm looking for guys who will be ready to contribute to a ML lineup by 2013 and some roster diversification.  I am at a good place cap wise so can be very flexible with any trade ideas.  PM with any thoughts.

[Paul S.]

Cardinals updated trade block:

CI Allen, Brandon, $0.5m (P-2013)
CI-OF Carter, Chris, $0.5m (P-n/a)
SP Millwood, Kevin, $0.5m (2012), signed 8/18/11
SP Wolf, Randy, $5m (2012)

Looking primarily for an upgrade at SP but would consider a position player or prospect.  Can package 2 or 3 of the above for the right player.  Please PM any offers.

The Buccos are getting ready for trades once again and have been in negotiations with several American League teams this week.  We need some depth for 2012 as well as immediate needs at MI.  Here is what we can offer to 2013 contenders not competing this year and 2012 contenders with depth...

CI Miranda, Juan, $0.5m (P-n/a) <- currently 5th on the CI depth chart and showed potential in 2011
MI Casilla, Alexi, $1.5m (2013) <-- provides AB and DEF at MLB level, serviceable not great, willing to throw some money $500k/year on the contract
MI Forsythe, Logan, $0.5m (P-2014) <- prospect moving up the ranks, doesn't fulfill 2012 needs
OF Pierre, Juan, $3m (2012) + $2.5m <- was a great depth player for the Bucs last year and could do so again this year, but our needs aren't OF... could be a cheap extension at no more than $1.5m
OF Revere, Ben, $0.5m (P-n/a) <- one of the top OF prospects out there, had a chance already and will be back
OF Swisher, Nick, $5.5m (2012) <- Buccos like him a lot, great production but willing to reset at an OF position to go younger

P Vizcaino, Arodys, $0.5m (P-n/a) <- top pitching prospect likely to be a good reliever in 2013
P Solis, Sammy, $0.5m (P-n/a) <- National prospect out for a good amount of time, similar to Vizcaino but better upside at SP
RP Robertson, David, $0.5m (P-2012) <- all-star reliever, Bucs could trade him for MLB depth but need to give up other non-MLB guys as we are at a full 40-man roster
SP Klein, Dan, $0.5m (P-n/a) <- spec SP can be added to a deal
SP Ranaudo, Anthony, $0.5m (P-n/a) <- younger spec SP with great potential

[Dan Wood]

Chipper Jones or David Ortiz are available... Looking for OF, MI, SP. Please PM inquiries.
