While I dont think this is that bad of a deal, I found your reasoning of "no one has offered me anything better" comical. It's been less than a week since you took over, the pennant chase has not even started, the trading deadling is months away and you have 0 leverage right now.

I am not telling Dave what to do with his team. In both of his trades,  I have had no issue with letting them go through, I just want to give him my perspective so he has more information available to him. More information can't hurt right?

But you don't know his perspective and his plan.  Why offer yours, if you don't know his?

My tone might be a bit too strong for which I do apologize, but what's wrong with offering my perspective on trades? Do I know his plan? No. Has he offered reasons for both his deals? Yes. Can I derive what he is trying to do? Yes. Can he use more advice and insight (whether he acts on them or not)? I think so.

In fact, I encourage you to comment on my deals. You bring some unique perspectives and it can only help in my decision making process.

My problem is that your perspective, can easily be taken as, "Wait until the COL/LAA trade could go through, once I get this 60 days issue fixed or the 60 days is up".  It was fine when he hurried to the table to give you Lowe.  You probably did not intend that, but it could easily be taken that way. 

I have no problem with offering perspective and everyone discussing deals.  I have often posted that I think the entire league should vote on each trade.  My problem with opinions and perspective is that it is often offered with intention or bias.

I believe that each GM should be respected and I did not see that in the posts.

This isn't about bias at all. Again, I had no problem with the trade in itself. Dave mentioned that no one offered him anything better, and hence he accepted deal. Is it wrong to ask why he is in such a hurry? I am not advicing him to not do this trade and wait 60 days. Had Dave disclose the same reasoning for my deal, I'd have no problem vetoing that deal.

It's the same with your deal. I offered my thoughts on the players. Do you think I want Taylor/Martinez?

Again, I apologize if my tone was over the top. It was not meant as disprect, I just want to understand Dave's thought process and help out a new owner.
