Can everyone report in where we're at with everything?  Free agency is scheduled to begin Friday.

I completed Tampa's major and minor league roster a few weeks back. 

Every team is going to have a quite a few players not listed in FanTrax, generally the obscure low-level minor leaguer.  I think it's wise that during free agency, we all pay attention and double-check the excel rosters when bidding on current minor leaguers.

What percentage of these minor leaguers aren't showing up?  Like 2%?  10%?

AL Central averaged about 35 players per team that were missing.

How does FA work if I want to get a minor leaguer?  Do you sign him to a multiple year deal just to put him on your farm system?

You'll give him a signing bonus, then he'll be a normal minor leaguer on your squad.

I noticed when I go to the Player tab that there are multiple players that should be on rosters and FA is supposed to begin soon.  Do we still need help getting FANTRAX set up so that we know who is actually a FA?  Or are Votto, Iwakuma, Colon and Morneau actually FA?  Thanks.

As far as I can tell they are actually FA

However, I did notice Kenley Jansen is still out there as a free agent but he should be on the Red Sox roster. I will fix that now. I'm hoping that is an isolated incident though because the fantrax committee and Chris combed over the rosters pretty thoroughly. If I remember correctly, Jansen was traded from the dodgers to the Red Sox around the time fantrax was getting set up so that's probably why he slipped through the cracks.

If anybody notices a discrepancy in that a player is shown available on fantrax but shouldn't be just let Chris or someone on the fantrax committee know and we can take care of it.
