I have always tried to amend things to perfect our system, and always with a general consensus from the league. I think all changes have been very democratic. And changes that effect the way we make decisions on our rosters have been implemented in the future to give GM's time to adjust. The way I see it, the changes that have been made have been to fix things that are broken more than anything. And our scoring has never changed since day 1.The NHL reduced the size of goalie pads and the size of the sides and rear of the net this year. They make changes to enhance their product when they need to and we've done the same. I've opened the floor for lengthy discussion on every change that's been made. And I think every amendment we've approved has made our league better. And to be clear, we're not changing PIM. I completely agree with you on that. I took this as tongue and cheek and responded as such.
I have been happy with the changes in the league and the way they have been handled. In my opinion though eventually you have to play a year or two with the current rules to see how the changes you have made effect the league. You have done a great job running this league Rob and will likely be the only hockey league on ProFSL that I will be in.
always causing chit around here Corey. I will say the only scoring I wish we did have (but not looking to change anything) would be blocked shots. I just find it gives that extra piece to dmen that are highly regarded in the "real NHL" but really get no notice in fantasy leagues. Ie. Dan Girardi (or basically every dman on NYR), Francis Boullion, greg zannon, andrew macdonald, etc. It closes that gap between dmen and forwards so that the top dman scores similar points to the top forward. There is still a gap but it gives those lower tier dman a value.
