My absence from this league and ProFSL as a whole was unacceptable. Although it was not totally out of neglect nor was it not unpleasant to not be around for the past 2 weeks. I would like to offer an explanation, although in no right do I believe this totally negates my behavior. I am a project superintendent for a contractor in NE Ohio and have been building a run way extension for the airport in Erie,PA. The past 3 weeks we have been tying the newly constructed section of runway into the existing runway. This portion of the project was under a tight time line that had to be met. Not only met for contractual reasons, but personally had to be met to secure my family's financial viability for the upcoming year 40%-60% of my 2012 bonus was directly influenced by this deadline. I have been working 16 hour days for the past 3 weeks to reach this goal. And although I would have liked to unwind with my hobby my family obligations made this an awkward task. I am guilty of not doing my bare minimal to maintain my presence in this and other leagues and for this I truly am sorry and promise to maintain a great presence here from this point forward. Once again please accept this sincere apology and I ask that I can just move forward in good standing with everyone involved with Mendoza and most importantly with Nick who has made an incredible attempt at making this league a success.
