I am going to argue you on this one rob. Not that I would keep bidding on him myself at this point but I dont think you can count an invalid bid as a valid timestamp. 
If it was a typo it should be caught and corrected within minutes maybe an hour not days.  As a Co- Commish I say bad precedent but your call.

Ya I have to agrue as well. Bid came in on September 1st and that is all we can really go by not a possibly bid. Yes an honest mistake but still not a valid bid so can't be timestamped backwards.

Maybe I have a soft spot since someone just did something similar to this for me in another league.

I dont think he is B'sing either and I love Corey I think he is one of the best GM's in the league.  But my stance is we are limited to 5 bids. Any teams (including myself) are sometimes juggling bids by looking at who do I need to bid up to keep it active next... For myself, I look at the bottom of the list and work my way up.  I actually wont normally bid a guy up if he is within 3-4 hours of finishing unless I really want him and willing to put more that a 200k up bid..

If it was within a few hours I would be fine with it,  but the bid wasnt corrected for 19hrs....that really skews the bidding process/time clock/time stamp..

I would side with Snug in this one, I do believe it was an honest mistake but since it was a full day later I think the biddin should continue.
