76ers agree to the trade couldn't pass up the opportunity to get Chef Curry!

Thanks for the negotiation nedsports.

:iatp: non contract league Curry should fetch a lot more but with that brutal contract I can see why GS did this. Fultz is still only 20 and has loads of upside on a scary good Philly team.

Nice deal for Philly. Not sure Fultz is worth that contract, so getting Steph at $30m a year is solid.
GS gains a much needed $20m in cap space though, and still has KD, Klay and Draymond... Those 3 alone would clobber my full team haha.

:iatp:  I mean it looks super one sided depending on how you view fultz in general, but the Warriors needed the cap space, and in a league like thats a contract like Currys is in general a killer. You cant look at this trade like a keeper leauge or a redraft, the contracts play a big part.

Approve. Yes Curry is worth way more in a non-contract league but even with $10m paid a year, that contract does hurt especially in a 16 team league when you need a more well rounded team than you would in a deeper league.

  • Jwalkerjr88: It was dallas. I think he missed the playoffs that year. Then used the draft picks on the 2021 class. Every pick was the 32nd pick (dont remembee what the other 1st became)
  • Jwalkerjr88: Idk if anyone remembers the 2021 class but it was weak on offense outside or the top 10-15. I dont regret the deal just learned and move on. As long as you have assets, you can mold your build how you want. Picks are usually the most valuable asset because most gms want in on a draft.
