The schedule for the upcoming season has been added to Fantrax. In 2018, we will have a 21 week regular season and 5 weeks of playoffs. Our 21 week season will have 162 games divided into 19 weeks of 8 games and 2 weeks of 5 games. The first week of the season begins on March 29th and will have four days of play. This will be one of our 5 game weeks. The other 5 game week will be the week of the MLB All-Star Game.
I will monitor the Fantrax schedule throughout the season because, as many of you know, Fantrax does some mysterious things, and sometimes changes things for some unknown reason. If you discover an error, please PM me and I will resolve the issue asap. With a full cast of GMs, I am confident we will have a fun-filled season of competitive fantasy play.
On a personal note, I am pretty much fully recovered from my recent health issues. I appreciate everyone's patience and well-wishes. With about a month to go before we begin play, I wanted everyone to know that I will again have to rely on Rick to keep things running as my wife and I go to Europe for a three week adventure. I'm not sure how much time, or access, I will have to log onto ProFSL, so all of you need to rely on Rick to deal with any issues that may arise. I will be around for the next week, but we leave for England on March 4th and then head over to Italy for whatever my wife has planned. We will return to California on March 27th.
I am very pleased that we have some new GMs, good people, who I know will make the league better. I believe that with the addition of our new members, we have a strong roster of active GMs. 2018 promises to be our best season ever.
