OF Span, Denard, $5m (2019)

Giants trade:
OF Heredia, Guillermo, $0.5m (P-n/a)
SP Nolasco, Ricky, $1.5m (2017)
CI Stassi, Brock, $0.5m (P-n/a)
C Bandy, Jett, $0.5m (P-2019)

The Giants are giving up three MLB players on prospect contracts who should help the Indians in their rebuilding process, but the Giants are very happy to welcome home OF Denard Span.  Although a little injury prone, Span is a regular OF who will be in the lineup day after day.  Injuries have certainly contributed to the Giants free fall, both in FGM and real life, and juggling players to fill the gaps is a necessary reality.  So getting Span should help stabilize the Giants OF once Mitch Haniger returns from injury. 

C Patrick Mazeika returns to the Giants and is a player who has a lot of upside.  He is an youngster who will find his way to MLB because he can hit.

Not that its a big deal but I'm pretty sure Stassi can't be traded for two more weeks.

You're correct, so I've send a PM to the Indians GM to divide it into two separate trades.  I will lock this thread, and if he agrees, we will repost as two separate trades.
