Phils and Red Sox agree to a deadline deal:

Phillies receive:
P Latos, Matt, $7m (2017)
X-P Latos, Matt, Cash Exchanged 2013, $-5.5m in 2013         
RP Thayer, Dale, $0.5m (P-2015)
RP Parra, Manny, $0.5m (2015)

Red Sox receive:
MI Johnson, Kelly, $7m (2016)
PHI pays $5.5m in 2013
SP Lannan, John, $2m (2014)
PHI pays $1m in 2013

I do this trade to get a good starter in Latos.  I regretted trading him a little bit ago and I'm happy to get him back.  I also needed RP's bad.  I have a couple MI's so I could afford to let Johnson go.

Red sox agree with upcoming suspensions need replacement for peralta and lannon will fill void for latos kill 2 birds with one stone rps where in surplus and easy to replace. Phillies is going to modify money with johnson to equal money that followed latos to make money equal in deal Red Sox  agree when he changes it
