Got a couple key guys left for those of you going for the year 1 title:
G Robin Lehner, $5.0m (2024-2025)
Recently acquired but will be recently traded again I hope; Looking to get a younger goalie maybe who isn't quite a starter in the league just yet
RW Dustin Brown, $5.9m (2021-2022)
Wrong side of the age bracket but still brings it in the SOG and HIT department and sprinkles in some G,A and PPP riding shot-gum with Anze Kopitar
Will help pay on them if need be
Looking mainly for young NHL players

We got another one done here and LA does confirm we give up a lot of youth with the specs and picks plus Quick who we do feel has some left in the tank for our LA squad but get a bit younger with Lehner who we hope to flip for an even younger goalie eventually to a contender. Took a bit to get it done but we got the pieces to fit

G Jonathan Quick, $5.8m (2022-2023)
Also wrong side of age bracket but still a dependable goaltender and was on a hot streak before the covid pause. Given contract LA is still trotting him out there and he'll get you alot of saves on that LA team with some decent peripherals. Plus most of you only will have one goaltender and the backup on same team and we start two so a solid 2nd guy to have to bang in the stats for ya
Will help pay on them if need be
Same as NY we are looking for young players, rookies and future draft picks (2022 included once this draft concludes)

With the newly traded pick Kings take D Cam York from Philly Flyers system and are happy to be done with the 2020 draft!

Thank you Vik! Was going to take Cole Caufield asap however I am pretty sure he should belong to the Montreal franchise and that is a mistake that hes on the open market he was their 1st rounder last year so saying that will revisit my list!!

Kings have acquired the pick that is up currently from the Sharks in exchange for our remaining picks in this draft PLUS a 2021 Kings 5th round pick. Our minors are stocked pretty full from other deals made and players picked and we had a couple guys left to take and just move up to get things done and take one of em and then focus on our trade talks without the draft pick chatter.
So Sharks 3rd 2020 for Kings 4,6 and 7 round picks 2020 (4 is from Vegas) plus Kings 5 round pick in 2021. Yes lots of picks for one but we have also acquired several 2021 picks already to make this one work on our end and we know that not all 30 minors guys will graduate to the NHL in one year!
