Tampa Bay has agreed to trade Vinny Lacavalier and his rediculous contract to the Chicago Blackhawks for prospects Kyle Beach and Ivan Vishnevskiy. My team stinks and in looking to rebuild, Vinny doesn't fit in to the plans. He's still gonna score 20-22 goals a season but not worth 8mil a season. He will look nice in Chicago's lineup which loooks tough and ready to make a run.
Chicago receives: C Vinny Lacavalier$7.727m(2017)
Tampa receives: LW Kyle Beach $m(p-n-a) D Ivan Vishnevskiy $o.846m (2010)
Tampa has also agreed to absorb $4.5m of the Lacavalier contract for 2010 to keep Chicago at the salary cap
Give Okposo time to find his game, he'll be good. Just my opinion but I don't see how its gonna help a playoff push this year. I would move Hejduk for youth while he still has value, but not in the hunt. He'll heat up.
