Jason has a cheap contract and is going home to the Sabres. We hope Seth and Philip get regular playing time. Good trade talks with TheBeef. Buffalo to confirm.
Buffalo agrees. Di Giuseppe was difficult to part company with but we signed Griffith out of Free Agency and the 2nd won't pan out for few years. We like how Jason Pominville will help us immediately and doesn't cost us a fortune to bring in his level of scoring. Thanks to Chicago and Dickie Dunn.

That's certainly one of the reasons.
The Whalers had a winning tradition in the WHA. Great franchise.
Unfortunately I doubt they will ever make a return to the NHL.
Out of curiosity can someone on this board make that New England Whalers logo for the dropdown selection? This and the Colorado Rockies logos really should be added for the NHL dropdown menu.
