Armchair Fantasy Baseball: Invalid Transactions / Red Sox Extension« on: October 26, 2013, 12:05:59 PM »
Red Sox would like to extend Jacoby Ellsbury for 4 years at 17,612,500 per year. (I know I let him walk via free agency earlier on the offseason, just a bluff at the expense of Scott Boras)

I think if we still mean to uphold our claim as the "most realistic" league, then we should definitely keep the affiliates the way they are, as opposed to 1-2 big pools. Makes it easier to look at too. I would like to get rid if everyone's DSL teams, it just seems excessive to have so many teams. I have no problem however with uppering the age limits.

I've been weighing several offers for Fernandez over the past few weeks, but this was the kind of offer I was really looking for, "farm system for Fernandez" type of deal. Hate to lose two out of three aces, but getting Eovaldi back was key in keeping up a respectable rotation. Jansen closes games, Sands gives me depth at 1B, and Pederson and Almora were key returns, with Crick, De La Rosa, Webster, and Johnson filling out the farm system.
