Franchise NHL / Re: Franchise NHL Trade Discussions« on: August 24, 2011, 11:42:45 PM »
The Pittsburgh Penguins have an updated Trade Block after the numerous recent transactions we've made.
Available are the following, though we're never exclusively limited to this list of players: 30-Man Major League Roster RW - Aaron Asham, $1.5m (2012-2013) D - Alex Goligoski, $1.8m (2011-2012) D - Theo Peckham, $0.4m (2011-2012) D - Ben Lovejoy, $0.5m (2012-2013) D - Deryk Engelland, $0.8m (2012-2013) D - Johnny Oduya, $0.2m (2012-2013) Minor League Roster RW - Ben Hanowski, N/C, (0 Games) D - Carl Sneep, N/C, (0 Games) Quote What We're Looking For: 2023
Franchise NHL: Completed Transactions / Penguins Extension, Buyout & MiLR Player Release« on: August 24, 2011, 10:39:52 PM »
Extension
Matt Taormina, $0.6m (2011-2012) * 2010-11 = 19.3 pts = Rank 211 = 0.6 * 2009-10 = 0 pts = Rank 0 = 0.2 (not listed so used league minimum salary) = 2 years for $0.6m (no change in salary level) (2) Buyout at 2/3 Brad Stuart, $3.8m (2011-2012) We will buyout Stuart at $2.5m for the final year of his contract as he is clearly overpriced for our team's payroll forecast. Plus that free's up a roster spot. (3) MiLR Player Release D - Brian Strait, N/C, (3 Games) 2024

The last name is definitely Conz.
Perhaps we forget the player until he's on Fantrax. I'm OK with that. Thanks 2026

Franchise NHL: Completed Transactions / Penguins and Coyotes swap RW's in Semin and Doan« on: August 24, 2011, 02:05:41 PM »
Traded to Pens
(Right Wing) Shane Doan, $4.6m (2011-2012) (Centre) Vladimir Sobotka, $1.4m (2012-2013) NJ Round 3 - 2011 (via PHX) Traded to Desert Dogs (Right Wing) Alexander Semin, $7.5m (2014-2015) For trade committee's approval. Semin 27 is a young player on a high scoring team with years ahead of him and entering his prime. Coyotes also free up 1 roster spot. I'm building a "win now" team so don't mind Doan who's 34 and due for an extension in the +6 million range. I ask for Vlad and the pick as future value to even out the deal. Thanks for the seamless trade negotiations Hockeyfreak47. For the record, hockeyfreak47 has the cap space to make this deal since 2 of the players they bought out (Wolski and C.Mason) are paid for by their new teams and they get a buyout discount on Oduya. In all Coyotes now have $4.0m in extra cap space. And I'm the owner of Wolski and Oduya, so you're welcome hockeyfreak47. lol Wojtek Wolski, $2.5m (2011-2012) off the Coyotes' books - paid off by new team Johnny Oduya, $2.0m (2011-2012) save 0.2m Chris Mason, $1.3m (2011-2012) off the Coyotes' books - paid off by new team 2029
