Armchair Fantasy Baseball: Archives / Re: How many votes should it take to veto a trade?« on: October 11, 2013, 01:10:39 PM »
Fitzy, really how often has Nicole, Larry or I vetoed a trade. In two + years we have maybe had a total of 5 vetoes. Please before you put out information know who you are talking about. We dont veto a trade unless it is totally one sided as in the Pujols deal last year. WE have nothing against you so please dont bash us.

The contracts are updated.
It says the players go through Pittsburg but the cash would need to go through them as well. As far as cap goes, Oakland and Miami should have at least $6M in cap space even with adding in arbitration. St. Louis, Philadelphia and Pittsburg have plenty to spare. 144

I totally spaced putting the contracts in to show how the deal works. I will fix it. Totally my fault. I will try to have it posted tomorrow. By the way the cash is for next year 2014 not 2013.

This is why this is a fantasy league. No real owner would do what Loria does.

As the first person to post the trade...wow what can I say-first 5 team trade, I have been apart of 2 three team trades in this league.
St. Louis give us alot but get alot back in return. Lost alot of power #'s and money but get back some depth and quality. 148

St. Louis is sending out over $70M in salary so they can send the cash to Pittsburg along with the player to help pay. Pittsburg would then be able to cover some more of the contract. That is how they can trade $16M. Wow that has been alot of work..I think I have everyone included and going to the correct team. 149
